Every buy is a layer.
Your oldest rock goes last.

$STRATA reads your wallet like a cliff face. Buys settle into layers, weight and time harden them, and selling only ever wears away the top.

01 · The borehole

Market cap
is depth.

Every $100 of $STRATA's market cap is one meter of rock. As it rises, the drill goes down past real landmarks, all the way to the centre of the Earth. The dashed line is the all-time high.

02 · Thesis

Rock remembers. A cliff face is a ledger: every bed of sand was laid down in order, and the deeper it lies, the older it is. Wallets forget. A balance is one number, and the order you bought in is gone. Strata reads that order back out of the chain. Every buy deposits a layer. Weight and time harden it. Sell, and you erode from the top, so your oldest rock is always the last to go.

03 · The four laws

Written for cliffs in 1669.
Rewritten for wallets.

Law I · Superposition
Wallet A
Wallet B

  1. 01

    Superposition

Every buy lays down a new layer, on top of the last. Nothing is ever slipped in underneath, and the order is the chain's, not yours.

buy → new layer on top
  2. 02

    Erosion

Selling wears rock away from the top down. Your newest layers go first. Take profit, and the deep rock never notices.

    sell → erode surface first
  3. 03

    Lithification

A buried layer hardens under the weight of the layers above it. More weight and more time make harder rock. The surface never hardens.

beds above × time → grade
  4. 04

    Transport

Rock doesn't travel. Tokens sent to another wallet erode the sender like a sale and land as alluvium: rubble with no date, no grade, no markers.

    transfer → alluvium
04 · Grades

Five rocks.
One way up.

A layer's grade comes from how many bearing layers sit on it, and for how long. Grades never go back down. The only way to lose one is to erode the rock itself.

  1. G0

    Sediment

Every new layer starts here. The surface stays here.

    exposed
  2. G1

    Sandstone

One bearing layer above it, for a day.

    1 day
  3. G2

    Slate

Two bearing layers above it, for a week.

    7 days
  4. G3

    Marble

Three bearing layers above it, for a month.

    30 days
  5. G4

    Diamond

Five for ninety days, and only from bedrock. The carbon is finite.

    90 days

A bearing layer holds at least 100,000 $STRATA, or 0.01% of supply. Smaller layers are still rock; they just don't press on anything.

Marker horizons

Real cliffs carry beds that date the whole planet: volcanic ash, the iridium of an asteroid. Your core carries the market's, stamped the moment a layer lands.

      06 · Drill

      Drill any wallet.

Paste a Solana address and pull its core. Nothing to connect, nothing to sign. Strata only reads.

Pre-launch, the drill returns a specimen: a simulated core seeded from the address. Real cores open when $STRATA goes live.

      07 · Questions

      Field questions.

Still stuck? Ask us on X.

      What's the borehole?

$STRATA's market cap, read as depth: every $100 of market cap is one meter of rock. The drill follows the live market cap from pump.fun every 15 seconds, past the Great Pyramid, the deepest mine, Everest and the deepest hole ever drilled, down to the centre of the Earth at $637M. The dashed line is the all-time high.

Do I need to do anything?

No. Buy and hold $STRATA like any other token. There's nothing to stake, lock, sign or claim. Strata reads public transactions and draws what it finds.

Why does selling erode from the top?

Because erosion works on what's exposed. Your newest buys sit at the surface, so they go first. Trim a bag and your oldest rock doesn't move.

Why won't my only layer harden?

A layer at the surface has nothing pressing on it. Hardening needs bearing layers on top, so buying again later is what turns the rock beneath into stone.

      What's a bearing layer?

Any layer holding at least 100,000 $STRATA, or 0.01% of supply. Smaller layers are still rock and still yours; they just don't press on what's under them.

      What makes a diamond?

Carbon from the deep: a layer bought on the bonding curve (bedrock), with five bearing layers above it for ninety days. The curve closes once, so the carbon is finite. No new diamond can start forming after migration.

Can I move tokens to a new wallet?

You can, but rock doesn't travel. The sending wallet erodes from the top, and the tokens land in the new wallet as alluvium: they add weight but carry no date, grade or markers.

Do grades ever go back down?

No. Metamorphism doesn't reverse. A grade is lost only when the layer holding it is eroded away.

How do I check a core myself?

The rules are deterministic. Take a wallet's $STRATA transactions in chain order, replay them through the rules in the field paper, and you'll get the same rock, grain for grain.

      Is this an investment?

No. $STRATA is a memecoin with a geology habit. Grades and markers are a reading of public data. They carry no rights, no yield and no claim on anything.
